Summer Camp is right around the corner!
Registration opens TODAY at noon April 21 and will close on May 5 at noon.
This year the DSABV will offer three separate Summer Camps for our members. Each session will be a four-day camp. The camps are offered for primary (6-11 years) school-age members June 16-19, secondary (12-18 years) school-age members
June 9-12, adults (19+) age members June 2-5. This is a change from last year due to scheduling events for each age group.
We will visit two fun filled locations in the community each day. Spend a little bit of time on crafts, games, movement therapy, functional skills, and most of all, have fun!!
Drop off will be from 8:30am-9am and pick up at 3 pm each day at the DSABV Office. (4001 E 29th Street suite 190 Bryan 77802) We will enjoy a lunch and a snack together daily.
The camper application is due by May 5. The timely completion and return of applications do not ensure a place at camp.
There are some changes to camp this year. First, we are going digital for safety reasons. You will need to create your own profile on Wild Apricot (a secure site to store all info) The link is below. We will need all areas filled out with your members medical info, dietary restrictions, mobility restrictions, allergies and behaviors we should be aware of, emergency contact information.

DSABV will confirm camper placement by May 9, 2025.
Space is LIMITED!
There will be a $200 deposit if your child is accepted into camp to save a spot. You will be required to attend on all 4 days unless prior arrangements have been made with Darla.
You will receive an email by May if your member is enrolled in the camp. At that time, you will also get a list of what to pack each day (refillable water bottle, sunscreen, etc.) You will get the full itinerary of events, food being served, a bus rider waiver and more info.
The DSABV has an open application policy and reserves the right to refuse any application based on nondiscriminatory reason.
